A Spooktacular Halloween...

We had a wonderful Halloween weekend. We kicked it off by doing the 5K Halloween Hustle in Palatine. We went as "Family Game Night"---Connect Four, Twister and A Barrel of Monkeys. It was a fun run (actually jog/walk) and we were able to see our friends and their little Tiger, Max. Today, for Halloween, we trick-or-treated a little around our neighborhood. As, you can see in the photos, Brayden was excited about the candy---although---he had to share it all with mom and dad this year--except for his first sucker :) Then we headed to Schaumburg Park District to their Halloween Boo-nanza. Brayden had a great time trick-or-treating in the "little town". He walked quite a bit, and enjoyed "chatting" with the adults who were handing out candy. Then we headed inside...and he went to the play area...where he QUICKLY took off and headed right for the tunnel play structure. We had to seriously pull him out...kicking and crying...to get him to leave. He loved crawling in the tunnels, climbing on all the structures and going down the slides. Happy Halloween to all!!!!
