Our first season of "real" tball is over....we had such a great season and it was so fun watching the kids grow and get so much better and more involved/attentive as the season went on. We had a great coach...thanks dad!!!!!! Go CUBS!
Marshall and Haddie will miss the hangout too!
A friend brought Haddie some bows....and she insisted on wearing them all...
These 2 little monkeys always liked seeing how far they could get...
Last Game
We had a wonderful 4th of July!!!!! Aaron and I helped out at the fest on Thursday and then Friday the kids and I went to the rides during the afternoon and then we all went back on Friday night for fun with friends and fireworks. They loved the fireworks....while we were watching them, Brayden said, fireworks are my favorite time of year.....
Getting ready for the show
Saturday we had the parade and then we went to our neighbors for a great BBQ....before the parade we decided to have holiday donuts :)
They were quite tired from the night before, but they rallied and enjoyed the parade
Fun with family and friends
Then on Monday....we all headed to the dentist....all 3 kids went and even though the picture does not show it....Hadley LOVED the dentist, she sat and smiled and let them brush her teeth for 2 minutes....Marshall would get second runner up....and well Brayden....lets just say we used a LOT of bribery! But we all got through and Haddie really cleaned house with all the goodies she took
Last week was also our last week (week 4) of swim lessons. Brayden is such a fish. He is with all older kids...learning to dive and do strokes....he was a little nervous at first about not being able to touch....but we practiced at the pool--just him and I---and then he was pretty comfortable. Marshall was a wild card---one day he was a fish, the next he would just want his teacher to hold him...he knows how to work the ladies :) And Miss Haddie and I loved the baby pool...and of course she liked all the snacks I would bring for her too. With Illinois weather....as crazy as it is....we had 2 days of swimming that were canceled, so one day we headed to the zoo. Our friends meet us, and the kids last about 4 1/2 hours which was impressive....we had such a great time....and can't wait to get back!
Marshall is with us....just on the back of the stroller :)
Marshall is really trying to keep Haddie safe lately...so you can see in the picture he is pulling her close to him....just in case those animals would get out
Face painting
Haddie kept sneaking away to the photo booth....what a ham!
More pics to come....last week we also hit up a small petting farm zoo, celebrated Hadley turning 1 1/2 and some other fun things....and this week is VBS!!!! We love summer!!!!
