Brotherly and Sisterly love....Hadley has to give Marshall at least 3 hugs every morning when we drop Marshall off at school...as well as 3 kisses. Then when we go to pick him up, she cannot run to him quick enough to hug him. They really are sweet together...I just have to remind Marshall often that he cannot pick her up and swing her around...because he sure does love to! Don't worry, Brayden gets at least 3 hugs and kisses from each of us in the morning too...but since we are in the van I am without pictures...but it is really sweet. Marshall always sends him on his way with "Have a good day little monkey and be curious"
Lunchtime smiles...this was her last time eating in the highchair...she went on a food boycott....but since we moved her to the booster, she is back in the eating saddle :)
My little bakers...these 2 LOVE to bake...and so do I, which could result in a lot of treats and extra cushion around the middle in the winter....
Brayden had 2 days off school last week, so we went to the CITY on the TRAIN after having breakfast at our favorite diner (which just closed) Grammy Ds. It was such a fun day and we were so happy that daddy could go with!
Prepping for the trip by checking the map...
They were all so excited to ride the train...but this guy might have been the MOST excited!
All ABOARD! The train was PACKED on the way down, so we squeezed in a spot with our 2 strollers, 3 kids, lots of bangs and lunches.
Once we got to the city, we headed to the Bean!
Then we headed to Maggy Daley Park...and by far this was THE COOLEST park we have ever been too....cool for kids and adults...some of the slides were so huge, Brayden would not dare go down.
After we played we walked to the fountain to have lunch, only to find out that it had just been turned off...so we still ate lunch and imagined what the fountain would look like on. We stopped for a great Chicago treat....Garrett's popcorn for the train ride. SO YUMMY!!!
We headed home on the train and got to sit up top and eat our popcorn....it truly was a great day!
Then on Saturday after Brayden's soccer game we headed to Woodstock to pick apples....the crew was a little tired so I had to pull them in the wagon (all 130 plus pounds of them)
We have been practicing sight words around here and Marshall wants to be right with us when we are doing any learning activities....here he wrote his name pretty perfectly all on his own...he was very proud
All of a sudden, our days of 70-80 degrees temps turned to 50 or below....what?!?!!? Thank goodness this week we are back in the 70s and loving it...so we had hot chocolate one night after soccer practice to warm up!
You know how some kids like to paint pictures? Well this girl...she likes to paint herself!
AHHHH scary!!!!
Grandma and Grandpa Jefford came to visit us...they wanted to cheer Brayden on at soccer and they helped us get some things ready for Fall....the kids needed to get their snuggles in too!
Someone has a serious case of bed-head...frequently!
More of that love I was speaking about earlier....
