We had a special visitor Valentine's day weekend....M&M man....he got to go to Photo's, a Buffalo Grove basketball game....and then
BOWLING! Brayden was invited to a mom-son bowling night...and of course we brought Marshall along too. The kids had such a blast bowling...I am looking forward to going again soon! And of course my score was amazing....with the bumpers!
The kids were excited to celebrate Valentine's day....this year Marshall's preschool had a party but did not exchange valentines :( so we made teacher ones....and then Brayden not only got to make Lego valentines...he also got to celebrate with Wonka Fest!!!
Marshall and Hadley are my little kitchen helpers and taste testers....here they are helping make valentines days cookies
The finished product...all 3 kiddos helped frost and decorate them...and of course eat them!
Captain Heartbreak...ready to celebrate at school.....
And of course if I take a picture of Marshall...she needs one too!
Here is Brayden on the day of Wonka Fest!!! His class read the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...and he LOVED it!! Everyday he would tell me about the chapters they read that day....oh it was so fun to see him so excited about reading....and as a kid that was my FAVORITE movie!!!! He wanted a shirt....so we made him one (I am sure in his teens he will be embarrassed that I puffy painted him a shirt....but as a 6year old he thought it was pretty great). He is holding his golden ticket to get into the factory....
Lucky for me, I got to go volunteer for the morning and help with activities. It was amazing...over the top fun...the kids got to do SO many activities related to the book----guess the flavor of gum, lickable wallpaper, chocolate measuring and weighing....I mean the planning was insane...and the kids loved it!!
This little lady is all about the princesses.....and her new favorite accessory...heels....
Happy Valentines Day....
we got the kids a little gift for the day...the boys have been wanting robes (thanks Home Alone) so that is what they got and Miss Haddie got some cut and bake cookies for her kitchen
Marshall helped me make heart shaped pizza for diner that night....
Not much of a chef....he was busy putting a puzzler together while we were making dinner
The weather here is crazy...one day it is cold and snowy and the next it is 60 degrees with 50mph winds....so here was a night that was fair out and we had snow....so I even took part in playing in the snow
The boys finished up a basketball class they took...somehow only our family and one other family signed up...so this was their class....
They had a great time! And got lots of attention :)
Brayden was off school on Presidents Day....it was nice to not have to run everyone to different places and have them all home. We played legos....
And went to the Barrington Library with our neighbors...
On a good day....Haddie naps....look how sweet she is
And while she naps, Marshall and I get to have some quality time together....playing games and he all time favorite---CAR WASH!
One night after dinner, Haddie set up her own dinner party for her babies. She put them all on chairs and was talking to them...telling them to eat and drink their bottles...it was too cute!!!
Her favorite time of the night...Bath time!
Today we went to a cute 1st birthday party....Oh the places you will go....me and my little girl in a hot air ballon :) Marshall was too busy popping all the balloons with random tacs to be in the picture
