Catch Up!

This summer has just flown by! I can hardly believe that this is my last week off before I head back to school. Brayden and I had had SO MUCH fun together this summer---we have tried to squeeze in as much fun as possible each day...and this week we will continue to do the same. Although, I have to go back to work next week....I will only be working for about 9 weeks...and then Baby #2 will be here. Hard to believe that I am 30 weeks pregnant already! I have not blogged in QUITE a while...so here is a quick catch up of what we have been up to!
We took a trip to Moerten Arboretum with Becky and Cathy...it rained the day we went, so our trip was cut short...so that is on my list of places to get back to!


The weekend of the" guys trip"--when Aaron and his close guys went to Toronto for the annual baseball trip, my mom and grandpa came to visit. As you can see from the pictures below, Brayden enjoyed their visit VERY much!

Then a weekend ago, Aaron and I took our first vacation since Brayden to Vermont...to celebrate Lisa and Andrew's BIG day! We had SUCH a wonderful time!!! We flew into Boston...and then headed to Vermont for the wedding. The festivities were at the Queeche Inn...a truly, beautiful place in Vermont. We had the rehearsal dinner at Simon Pearce, which had such a beautiful setting...and they blow glass there. Then Saturday was the wedding. The weather was great...and the day could not have been more PERFECT!!!! Lisa looked gorgeous! And we had such a blast! After the wedding, we headed to Nantucket...unfortunately it RAINED cats and dogs the WHOLE day!!!! And on an island on a rainy day...there is not much to do except for eat and drink....and well drinking water is only so much fun. We still enjoyed the day....but the next time we head there, we hope for some sunshine. Here are some pictures from the weekend!



























Last Friday, we got together when a close friend of mine from college...she has 2 kiddos so we had a play date...it was great to catch up!

And well this weekend was a mix of sunshine and rain....but that did not keep our little explorer from being busy!
