More travels and a MUCH happier, healthier little guy!

So that weekend, after the big scare with Brayden, I flew out to Boston to help Lisa celebrate her bridal shower and bachelorette party. Although, of course it was hard to leave my baby after that hard week, I knew that he was doing MUCH better and in good hands. I really enjoyed my time in Boston...it is always so great to catch up with great friends and have so much needed girl time. Here are a few shots from the big celebrations...

Crazy to believe that we met 12 years ago ago in Carmen Hall at EIU! (*funny story about the 12 here, originally I put 9 years...however Aaron QUICKLY saw my typo...and reminded me, that it was much longer than 9 years ago that I was a freshman in college)

Brayden was feeling SO much better by the time I got home...he did have a little rash on his hands and feet, but not nearly as I imagined it might be. We also experienced a MAJOR HEAT wave...so we made the most of our time indoors and went out for small spurts...

Since he was all better, we got to go see his friend Nora in the city. This is the little girl that he first did a nanny share with in the city. They were very excited to see one another---it was like they were long lost friends. So cute....there were many hugs and kisses too! We also got to see our wonderful nanny that watched them, Billie...unfortunately, I did not get a picture of that

Playdough fun...

All the boys...

Then, this weekend, we were back to traveling. Friday, we headed to Bloomington...Aunt Reena and Uncle Brian tied the knot. We were very excited to see family....Natalie, Dave and their 3 kids were even in from CA...so Brayden and Michael were attached at the hip. Here are the kids taking a quick dip before the wedding...

The bride and groom

Doing races and dancing at the wedding....they never sat still until the cake came!

This is Megan, our cousin Eric's wife...they are due in mid-Novemeber

Saturday morning, we were back to traveling. We headed off to Peoria to see the Jefford side of the family. It was great to see them, even though it was a quick stop. Here are the boys checking out airplanes...

After lunch, we headed back to Aaron's parents and Grandma Scherer's for more family time. Here are the kids with Eric, he had an iPad that all the kids loved.

Sunday, we had a BBQ and party for Gracyn who turned 5 Monday and the newlyweds who were off to Hawaii this week...

We had such a great time visiting family! We headed home Sunday, and Brayden and I both passed out before we left the Jefford's subdivision. We were pooped!
Monday was pretty much a lazy day outside...

The fun continues this weekend...Aaron is off to Toronto for his baseball trip and my mom and grandpa are coming to visit Brayden and I. This summer has been such a whirlwind...I really think that we have squeezed in as much traveling, play dates and family time that we could---but we would not have it any other way....we have had a great time doing so much!
